I visited my local Kubota dealer today...in fact he owns the 3 closest Kubota dealerships to me...so I guess it's a captive audience for anyone in western CT who wants to buy a Kubota.

Anyway, I'm looking at a B2320 with the LA304 loader and BH65 backhoe.
He quoted me the following:

B2320 - list $12,875 - sell $12,231
LA304 - List $2769 - sell $2769
BH65 - $5602 Subframe - BH4965 - $964 BT1952A (whatever that is) $648 - total for backhoe $7214.

Total for the tractor, loader and backhoe $22,214.25 (R4 tires)

Kubota's website lists MSRP for it at $22,421.00 (R4 tires)

Now, I was born at night...just not last night. I should be getting more than $216.75 off of list, right? Or is there something about the B2320 that I don't know...like the frame is made from solid gold.

Hi
I got a quote of $21000 for a b2320 tlb and thumb.
22300 for a b2620 tlb plus thumb and I'm in massachusetts.
good luck

Looks like you guys should contact Barlow Equipment and have them deliver your tractors to your door and save you some money. Guess that's why they sell so many all over the country because some local dealers think they have the market locked on customers and can charge any price and get it.

I'll have to check out Barlow, thanks for the tip.

Anyone else?

I live in CT and I found the local dealers pricing way high. They basically sell at list price. When I indicated that I would shop around he acted insulted.

I have purchased from Brady - Barlow Equipment - Home of the Kubota Tractor Package Builder.

I have also purchased from Kevin in NY - Emerich Sales & Service - Kubota,Cub Cadet Yanmar,Toro,New & Used Tractors,Exmark,Ferris,Ariens

My experience with both dealers above was much better than any of the local CT dealers. I like to deal local when possible but I saved over $2000 each time I purchased out of state. Kevin is in upstate NY and Brady is in KY.

Good luck in your search.

Thanks Amigauser. I sent out an email to Emerich, I'll see what they say.

On another note, while I was at the Kubota dealer I saw that he had a leftover B7610 with FEL and Woods backhoe with a thumb. Dealer told me that list was over $22k but they would sell it for $20,000.00. How does that sound?

That price sounds better than your other quote. I would still shop around.

Skip,

Another CT Barlow Fan Club member here.

I just pruchased a B2920 and ZD21 from Brady back in January - the prices he will quote you are very very fair and much better than any NE dealer will do for you (and yes that is including the shipping and a Hat!)

P.S. Note to me call Brady and remind him he owes me a Hat :D

Thanks for the input from my fellow CT Yankees!

I've never ordered anything as large as tractor from that distance, sounds like you have had very good experiences with Barlow.

Sounds like you were talking to Ruwet? I think they had the same 7610 when I first started looking 2 years ago.

Ditto with Brady, smooth deal.
