Comparing prices with a dealer for a BX 2360 and all are about the same, $13825 (FEL and 60" MMM), but one dealer came back with a deal on a BX 2660. According to his Kubota rep, they were leftovers from another dealer and priced it to me at $13990 with FEL, 60" MMM, grill guard and loaded rear tires. Of course I asked about condition and even though he hasn't seen unit, he assures me he will not accept the tractor or sell to me if everything isn't in new condition and will do whatever necessry to ensure it is. Their business has a good reputation so I assume he will follow through or I won't accept it. Apparently the warranty and financing deals are all the same even though this is a 2008 model.

Any concerns I should have? or advice? For $165 seems I should jump on this, with the better seat and more hp.

Also, I assume there are no differences in the 2008 vs 2009 model?

When my nephew bought his BX2360 a few months ago and when I bought my BX2660 a couple of weeks later there was a $700 discount to the dealer that was going on and off. Just happened to be "on" when Kevin and I bought. Wasn't advertised and only the dealer (Barlow) knew about it. Another reason I trade with him is because I've bought from him a few times and when the paperwork was done the price was cheaper than he quoted me. If there's any discount he gives it to me. One time he took $700 off because Kubota had me classified as a fleet buyer since I bought 3 in a year. Course it didn't apply the next year. So, that can be the reason someone got one cheaper a few months ago than now but if the incentive is off then no discount and it's beyond the dealer.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid $14,000 for my BX2660 MMM, FEL, grill gard and wheel weights about six months ago and would have paid more if I had to. I LOVE the seat and while I loved my BX2200, it is a lot better machine.

Money really wasn't an object to me at my age and I looked at all of th BX and B series and my pick was the BX2660, not that there is anything wrong with the others; great machines, the 2660 just fit my needs/wants better.
