| I bought a machine which was originally used as a rental. The dealer was able to get me the new financing and warranty. I would ask about it... I have no problem buying rental gear as long as the dealer is local. A few tips; see if they welded the ROPS (if any) closed, I hear this is common on rentals. Check the tires, easiest mistake is damage tires. However, it does seem to have this terrible reputation and I think it will hurt future private party resale. On one hand people like to talk about how the machine is "abused" and on the other hand they like talking about "ruggedness of kubota" ... so which is it?? I personally don't put too much value in the quality of the paint but I am sure others here will feel otherwise.

| I have to mirror Mr. Dodge Man's question. Looking at those pictures, I'd guess more than 250 hours. Even left outside, there is a tremendous amout of paint wear in some pretty odd places for a machine that isn't even broken in yet. Put another way, my little 2005 BX has 285 hours and it is not even REMOTELY as beat up as that machine. Obviously, they live two very different lives, but I would have had to drive mine to the depths of the earth and back to look like that in 280 hours... And if, indeed, it HAS been driven to the the great beyond and back and it is an honest 250 hours...WOW...those must have been some spectacular hours.
