| as someone mentioned in another forum, you buy a dealership & service as much as a name brand tractor...sounds like you did good on all counts plus resale will hold....an maybe more importantly (imho) you chose the M over the L & grand L, much more tractor for the bucks. enjoy the honeymoon. bb |

| Thanks for the tips, good to know. Unfortunately when I bought my L3400, although I had been aware that the issues people were having with the "jerky" three point hitch had long since been resolved, I wasn't aware that the tractor I received was approximately one year old at the time. Ultimately, I realized what had happened when it was too late to address it for free. Had I not shopped around to save $500, things may have worked differently. I'd say it's important to find out the age of the unit you're to receive and what improvements have been made the the model. |
