I was quoted 16,000 for a new Kubota b2920 w/ loader. Another $2k for the midmount mower. Thoughts?

That's a fair price. My B2320 was around $14,500, so I'd say you're right in the ball park. Did that include tax? Delivery? Setup? etc?

I paid $18k even for my B2920, loader, mid-mount mower, loaded rear tires, hook welded on loader and a set of Norwegian diamond-shaped rear chains (MSRP around $400-500).

Sounds like $18k with the loader and mower is fair.

Do you have turf tires, is that why you have the chains?

I am thinking of selling my 1992 kubota b20 and 2000 great dane zero turn and getting a new 2920 to replace both.

How do you guys like it? Its gonna be used for mowing, snowplowing, moving dirt and gravel, logs etc.

My 2920 was bought back in April, and here is what I paid:
Tractor: $12,300
LA364: $2800
60" MMM: $2350.

I got some other stuff, but that's what you asked about. I had asked 3 "nearby" dealers (one was about 50 miles away) for quotes on the setup I wanted an bought from the cheapest guy. He was about $700 lower than #2, and about $3400 lower than #3 (!). There can apparently be quite a bit of variation in pricing. We do pay sales tax in cursed Ohio (7% for me) and if I could do it over I would contact Barlows along with the other guys.
