Did anyone that purchased a L2800 or L3200 consider a John Deere 3032E? I'm finding the John Deere to be $1000+ less, which I did not expect. Do you think the 3032E is a comparable model to the L3200? I would be getting a FEL with the tractor.

L2800 & L3200 have higher three point lift capacities and both weigh more then the JD.
What else?

I can find smaller rock buckets but they require a skid steer universal quick attachment, is there an option to use these buckets on the 305 loader?

that is where deere gets you. you are stuck buying there attachments were as NH and Kubota have skid steer attachments and you can buy attachments any where

Compair the specs. The kubota is a bigger tractor. Only YOU can decide if that is worth the extra grand.

Some of the key specs are

Kubota weighs ~500lbs more
Kubota has more GPM at the pump
Kubota will lift ~100lbs more on the 3PH
Kubota has larger front tires (smoother ride)

Loader say they lift about the same but the Kubota lifts 10" higher and has a good bit more rollback force

Also, kubotas competitive comparison says their is NO backhoe avaliable for the 3032. Not sure if it is true, but may be a factor for you as well.

It is true, you also can't remove the loader and I think there are no rear remotes available (could be wrong).

You could probably buy the L2800/L3400/L3700 left overs as a better price. The L32/3800 are just starting to roll.

This is turning out to be a real problem. I really need a light weight rock bucket similar to the 54" or 60" Virnig, but I'm having a problem finding one. The buckets that will attach to the John Deere are not deep enough, or weigh too much. I'm looking into an attachment adapter, but this is definitely a disadvantage for my situation.

@LD1 - thanks for the specs, I did not find that in my research.

Thanks for all of the ideas / suggestions, I really appreciate everyone taking the time.

I looked at the 3032E and did not like the look and feel of the construction. The L3200 seems to offer much more tractor for the money, even if it is a few bucks more. For most people, this is a long term investment and I don't see the 3032E holding up for 10 years.
