what's the difference between:

BX2750, BX2750A, BX2750B, ...

There is also a BX2755HD sold in Canada.

I figure it's just minor improvements.

That's a question that I have been asking myself for some time as well. Recently, I had an oportunity to compare the Operator's and Parts Manual for an early BX2750 with a Manual for a more recent unit. The only notable differences that I found were in regard to the numbers attributed to four important parts. Namely:
- the RH Auger
- the LH Auger
- the large Sprocket attached to the Fan, and
- the Drive Shaft (and Small Sprocket) going to the PTO.
Changes in the above parts might well affect the speed at which the Fan turns, and possibly alter the rate at which the Augers push the snow towards the Fan.

The BX2755 has a full gear box vs a chain drive. Also 55" and hydraulic controls available.

All the videos I looked up just now show a front mount for this blower, whereas my BX2750 is a rear mount. I got the rear mount partially because the front mount model at the time was such a wimpy thing, with such thin steel, that I didn't think it was sturdy enough. (It also cost a heck of a lot more.)

Maybe the new ones are just the old one reconfigured to go on the front?
