Price Check help: BX2750D with no chain or sprocket work $600 ?

Local owner saw my craigslist add, the story:

chain & sprockets blew up, parts were going to take 6 weeks, he bought a new BX2750D.

He replaced the Auger and bearing.
He is asking for $600 (for just the BX2750D not the BX2751 and BX2752 that I would need to front mount).

Does this sound like something I want to get into ?

I'll stil have my Toyota pickup & plow.
I was originally thinking of shelling out the money for the front mount parts but now I'm thinking I could just run it rear mount for a while.

I'm seeing him at 2:30PM.

The chain and sprockets are about $ 120 according to Chappel Tractor.

Well, it looked like it was in pretty good shape so I'm getting it.

Kubota also sells those parts as a component, assembled and ready to bolt right in.

Your other post implies you have decided against the buy, but you should consider buying the component if you do move forward.

I got the $600 plow.
It's beat up, but everything seems to turn properly.
The bearings seem like they are in good shape.

Well that's not so bad.

Chain is OK, sprockets are well worn.

Now all I need is the rest of the parts.

ordered the BX2751 and BX2752 from Chappell tractor in Milford.
Prices seemed to be pretty good.

Not a BX2750D which needs:

for whatever that is worth.
