Richard,

I see the logic. I don't see what you have lost, as a tractor, and you have gained a unit made to do backhoe work. I guess the one problem some applications may have is that the loader is not made to be removed from Kubota's TLB's, and you lose a small amount of PTO hp compared to the tractor models. The other problem for some is the removing of the 3PT arms to put on the backhoe. I think this is more of a problem if you are a Freedom hitch user.

The L48 is not a BRUTUS, but sure looks like a tempting package.

Mark

Does the B21 and family support a mid mower? Does it have tire selections like the others? I don't happen to know - just looking for other points of contract between the families.

They really are not THAT different from what I've seen. Each just has it's center of gravity in a slightly different places. If your life revolves around digging and scooping, and 3PH activity is infrequent, the B21 offers more loader and BH, but it's at the expense (thought modest) of implement convenience/support. The "tractor" models are just the opposite.

In another note glennmac coveyed the importance of carefully and realistically assessing your needs. That's really what will drive the decision.

No, the B21 doesn't take a mid-mounted mower. Neither does the L35 or L48.

Rear ag's (R1) are available... same tire as found on the B2710 w/R1 tires. Otherwise it comes with R4 industrials standard.
