Financing Kubota 0% for 60 months is back on many models.

Bought my new L4600 today...while at dealer, he said that Kubota might go back to 60 months soon...he called while wife and I were driving home and said it was back. Was not a factor in making our decision, but cuts the payment nicely and on Kubota's nickel.

Good to hear. Kubota has not offered a "pure" zero in some time, however. It would appear, once again, that the "zero" offer OR the $1000 rebate, but not both. Thus, it is what it is. There's a grand built into the zero deal. No?

If a guy is going to finance anyhow, he'd be wise to compare that lost instant rebate of, say, a $1000 against what the interest would be if he were to finance at a credit union, etc. Just saying.

Many times, the zero deal is a very good deal, all things considered.

Agreed. We bought having decided to use Kobota financing of 48 months @ 0%, as the $1000 rebate was about equal to what we make by leaving the money in savings account (sort of a wash)...though maybe savings rates will increase in the next couple of years and we may come out ahead. At 5 years, the odds improve.

You are right...simple loan calculator (internet versions all over) show over 5 years, 4.99% loan rate (not sure what you would actually get) yields interest paid of ~$3240 (based on what we bought tractor for). So if you had to borrow money, the rebate is not so good.

We've had zero % for the last 4-5 years, except for two 2-3 months chunks. The cash discounts seem to be here to stay finally. years ago they did not always offer that.
