The new cab model weights 5470 without loader. I could not find what the loader weights. I bet those tires are heavy...??

Yep.. cabbed. Just thought some of you would like to know. You can have the book specs but reality not always the same and most dont have chance to weigh the tractors.

Thanks for posting that, Dance. The 7040 always lurks at the back of my mind as a possible acquisition. Didn't realize it was that heavy in all-up config. Would come close to limiting out my 9990# trailer by itself.

the book weights are always low.

makes me wonder if Kubota's are actually light, as is so often pointed out... or if Kubota is just concervitive with the figures like they are with so many others.

I wonder how much lighter the open station would be. I have weighed a M9540 4wd open station, loader, loaded rears and it was a few pounds short of 10K.

hmmm my little bx1500 scaled out at just over 2100 pounds, so maybe for every 15 horsepower, Kubota adds 2000 pounds? haha
