L4850 value?

I've seen a l4850 4wd with kubota loader and r4 tires on Craigslist and was wondering what the value was on it. I'm not sure of the year of it but what concerns me is it has 3875 hours on it. He's only wanting $6300 for it and it looks pretty good in the pics.

The L4850 is a great machine - but 3875 hours is roughly equivalent to a car or truck with 200,000 miles on it. Many of its wear parts are increasingly likely to need replacement. Get it checked by a good tractor mechanic - make sure the transmission shuttle, hydraulic pump, engine and axles are all sound. The price seems attractive, but the deal would sour if any two of the big systems need rebuilding.

If that is true then the average lives to 400,000 to 500,000 miles!!!!!!

2 yrs ago I bought one for 15K with 4000 hrs and it has worked well.. a new one is 3X that. value is what you are willing to pay I guess. If it runs well for just a few yrs, you have gotten your money back. I think it is rare to find a 4wd of say 50+ hp for less than 10 K

My first thought was to suggest to the OP this might be a scam, then I realize this thread is over two years old so 2000sliverz28 has probably figured it out by now.
