I picked up a 2002 BX2200 with a 60"deck and a FEL.

After spending a bit of time playing with it, I am quite impressed.

The speed is very nice, at full throttle it really moves down the road.
The 4WD is absolutely fantastic. No more worries about tire spin on hills and turns.
I like the look of the cut, it is certainly an improvement over my Craftsman. (and the 60" deck make a much bigger difference than I thought.

So far my only complaints are that the 4wd only seems to work in low gear/speed.
And the diesel smell....

I was planning on parking this in my garage, but the smell seems a bit strong for that.

Well you have my curiosity up. 4wd should work in any range, and diesel smell when parked?.. do you perhaps have a small fuel leak? I used to park my B7500 in the basement for about 8 years.. Never noticed any smell.

I will try it again, but I was in neutral, and when I shifted it into 4wd, it did not want to go in high gear.
I may have a small fuel leak, because it is a strong diesel smell.

4 wheel drive should work in both high and low range. I know my BX1500 does.

Yup, just checked it.
I guess I didn't do it right the first time.
