What would be a good price on a 2008 Kubota BX23? It has a FEL and a belly motor and appears to be in good condition and has roughly 220 hours on it.

I am looking to see what a good ball park deal would be for this set up. Thanks and I appreciate it!

The year or model might not be right .I got my bx25 in 2008 so i dont think the bx23 was made that year. From what i read could be wrong the 23 was made from 2004 to 2005. It could of been sold new in that year for the first time, but probaly was not made then. Might effect the price being older.

I found out it is a 2008 Kubota 2350. Not positive the difference between the 2350 and the BX23. Is $9,300 a high asking price for a 2350 and what would you offer for a 2350?

The BX23 is the tractor-loader-backhoe model - it comes standard with loader and backhoe. BX2350 does not have a Kubota backhoe option.

That price is about what you see around here for 4 year old BX's with at least a loader and mower, but not sure about their resale value where you are - someone in New England may have to chime in for you.

The Back Hoe was standard on the BX23 but was not even avabile on a BX2350.

This is my BX23
I would stay away from any BX model numbers ending in 50.
There were and still is problems with stopping and shifting on them .

Why would there be a problem stopping and shifting on the 2350 and not the 23? Aren't they the same animal only with the 23 it just has the bh added and with the 50 it is not added???

1* Aren't they the same animal only with the 23 it just has the bh added and with the 50 it is not added???
1*No they aren't .
The BX23 is from the BX2230 series.Neither one of these had the stopping and shifting problem .
The BX2400 is from the BX2350 series both have the problem with stopping and shifting.
As I said in my other post I would not buy any BX model ending in 50.
This includes :
BX1850 BX2350 and BX24.

From what I've seen that's a very fair price assuming it's a TLB and the hours and condition are right....I'm not sure I'd worry about the abrupt stop issue...My RTV does that if I rapidly release the trottle..Solution--don't do that. You'll get used to it if it even does it.

I forget which (24 or 25) had some plastic cracking issues, look for that too...The 23's were virtually all steel.

Actually it is not a TLB just a TL. Not sure on any cracks or anything, I still have to get to look at it. ***** is it's a bit over an hour away and hard to get time to go look at it.

The price might be a little tight for a TL, not horrible in my opinion...But if it only has 200 hrs and looks like it then you're still well under new...Does it have a MMM?

Make sure it's been maintained.
