Difference in L6060 Grand w/1055 FEL and M6060 Cab with HD FEL?

Gentlemen,
I've made the decision to buy a Kubota. That said I'm very interested in the differences between the L6060 Grand w/1055 FEL and the M6060 Cab with appropriate HD FEL. The money is not a big issue. I am most impressed by the weight advantage of the M6060 over the L6060 Grand. What are the basic differences between these two tractors? Granted most don't have the L6060 specs yet, however, a 5740 could be substituted. It look like the M6060 is a heavier(by almost a 1,000 pounds) tractor than the Grand. As usual what am I missing?

The grand L series are still basically a compact tractor whereas the M series is a mid-size. Both are excellent machines. For serious farm work I would definitely opt for the M series. For comfort and bells and whistles the grand L is wonderful. There used to be a comparison chart on the Kubota website. More weight is always better for tractors. You can do more with a heavier tractor with the same horsepower as far as ground engagement. Good luck!
