My Kubota dealer has two L48 and haven't sold one yet, but the kicker is the L35 are selling more so now than before. Thomas..NH |

Thomas,
Wish I could get a look at one down in my part of the country. They sure look like they meet most of the things on my wish list. Your dealer have any thoughts on why they haven't been selling yet? I would guess $$$'s has a lot to do with it. Happen to know what the asking price is on them, up your way? MarkV |

Mark,
Like one gentleman said which bought the L35 over the L45,saved money & and the L45 hasn't caught on yet...hmmmm I wonder if he meant let someone else work the bugs out of them. Don't know what the L45 goes for,but he paid $37,500.oo for the L35...oh by the way I check the dealer inventory list and one L35 left,so in the last week or so three L35 have been sold. Hi Mark,
You asked ... Have you gotten L48's to your shop yet? sc - Yes, several .. all had retail/lease customers waiting for them. Two were "L35" users that had ordered the L48 before the first of the year. MArk- I know you have seen them all, what do you think? sc -- COMPARED TO THE L 35-> The L48 is a very nice package for the folks that need more hp, bigger tires, loader lift payload and height for loading over the side of tandem dump trucks and site clearing. The L48 is a very nice BACKHOE package for the folks that need to dig deeper than 9' or get a little more reach when doing ditch and footings duty. The L 35 will remain the better landscaping unit as well as the most attractive unit for most plumbers and contractors focusing on residential construction and/or using light and med. duty trucks. The L48 is indeed the choice for the shopper searching for an EXTRA TUFF -- HST tractor loader backhoe that can be hauled without a CDL. Mark- Sure sounds like a nice package on paper. Sc -- Oh yes ...... We'll "shake and bake" ALL the other colors with this unit.... everywhere ... every job .... any time... unless the shopper is color blind. |

Foz we have sold two so far and taken in L-35's, extra reach, bigger lift capacity on the loader, and larger front tires seem to be the high points that they are talking about.
