Thanks for the input from everyone. Hopefully this weekend I will have a chance to try both the 7500 and 2410. I haven't looked at anything larger than 2410 for 2 reasons. First is space - my winter snow removal requires I negotiate through a 53" gate and I gather that tractors larger than 2410 have minimum width greater than this. The second reason is that I'd be afraid I'd be hooked on the features of the larger tractors - can't justify (or afford) to buy a tractor for summer work and a second one for winter.

Lyle, you just need to adjust your thinking a bit...
Get the bigger tractor and add a FEL and a backhoe. Then you'll have the equipment you need to widen that gate opening [img]/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif[/img] Good luck with whatever you get! Rob ![]() |
