M5640SUD , Anyone have one? General and emissions ratings.

I'm looking at 5640SUD's

I am hoping to get a "simple" tractor, so I am concerned with computers and emissions equipment and what years had what.

I have 3 pieces of sales lit,

2009 M5640SUD

V2403T E-TVCS Indirect Injection

2011 M5640SUD

V2403-T E-TVCS Indirect Injection

2014 M5640SUD-1

V2403-T, with EGR Interim Tier IV, Inline piston type fuel injection pump

So am I to assume the SUD-1 is the one loaded with emissions junk? What year did that get added?

Do these engines have mechanical injection pumps only, or is there a computer hidden somewhere?

I am in Canada if that makes a difference, looks like we can't get a 2wd 5640SU here.

How do you like your 5640SUD? The only thing I don't really like is the center gear shift, but I run an MF with that now so I'm used to it.

Finding anything any more that's not Tier4i is about impossible, tier 4 final rolls in next year. Sorry, but your only choice will likely be the emmisionized versions. The Tier 4 final versions for next year will be still more expensive, so I would not wait much longer.

Used market is what I'd be looking at, new is too much $$$ for me at this time.

I was looking at a used one, just don't have the model year yet. If I found say a 2009-2011 model (used of course) what is on it for emmissions?
