I have the chance to buy this L2250, just trying to get a good handle on price range. Unknown hours and has a stuck clutch, ran when they parked it.
TIA.

I have a 2550. Identical I think except a little more engine. A great little tractor platform. 2 speed PIO. If youre willing to leverage risk you might get it cheap - ~ a couple $K or so, as is not running. Or you could put a battery in it start it and pay a lot more at less risk. Id guess its worth $7K if everythings alright.

update: went and took a quick look at this poor tractor, the good, meter shows 1748 hrs, we all know about the breaking of these cables, so really not sure what they might be, it does have a complete TnT systems on it. Wow. Now the bad, needs front tires, checked radiator hoses no water, pulled radiator cap zero looked like it probabally needs cored out. Pulled the oil dipstick and it just gushed out, way over filled. Makes me think there is water in the oil pan....Not good.

Seldom do these tractors get parked in good condition. Loader is worth a grand. I would not buy it planning to get it running. Buy a good one if you want one. You'll have more in it than it's worth.
