Price Check L2800 HST FEL New buying a tractor fair price ?

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifI am looking at the new L2800 hst with a front end loader la463, 4x4, and my local dealer is quoting me 16,200. Is this a fair price?
I have also goten a qoute on the b7800 with front end loader, Hst, 4x4, and my local dealer is qouting me 15,800.

I live on 5 acres and am wondering what tractor I should go with? any ideas. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I am new to buying a tractor. My old tractor was a 1977 kubota 245dt and it did everything I needed to do. diggin up stumps, mowing ect.

Ive received quotes on a L3400 4x4 hst with R4 tires and folding rops. They range from 13,400 to 13,900. The loader is the same and is around 3200-3300.

That seems kind of high to me. The dealer here has a new L2800 with loader 4wd for $14500. I'm not sure if it was HST but I think it was. It had a woods loader and not the Kubota but according to him the woods loader sells for just a little more and is built better?

Thank you for the info, I did a little calling around and I was able to find the same new tractor at another dealer for, $15,600 and he will deliver it for free.

I bought an L2800DT with FEL, 5' shredder, and 5'BB last March for $14,600. It is a gear tractor--no HST--but it sounds to me that either Kubota prices went way up or you should keep talking with your dealer.
