Here in Houston I was getting quotes for around $10,500 before tax for a 1500 with 54" MMM and FEL with no weights, no 50 hrs service, no mulch kit, no cruise and no engine block heater. I have no idea what a snow blower would cost but I assume it is comperable to a FEL (~$1,500?). A complete oil/filter change of all systems including front axle was quoted at $325 from two separate dealers. So that sounds like a fairly reasonable price that you are getting. Do you have a breakdown on that cruise-control kit? That may come in handy in the future.

Purchased March 2005:

BX1500 $10,000, including 48" mmm and LA 181 FEL
Bar Tires (loaded rears) included
Block Heater $60
Fluids and Filters for 50hr Service about $72
Total $10,132
Add $400 for BX2750A snowblower vs FEL and $200 for 54" vs 48" mmm
Total $10,732

Add mulching kit $275, weights $125, cruise $182
Total $11,314. Add the tax and it's about even. Of course, buyer owes the tax whether seller charges it or not (at least in PA); it's just a matter of whether the Dept of Revenue finds out about it.

My dealer
1*BX1500 (Ag Tires) $7750
48" Mower (Included)
I do my own service between 65 and 75 dollars so
$325.00 is way way out of line.

1*I would go with Ag tires.
2*I see no need need for a mulching mower.
3*I will take a FEL over a SB any day. You will get a lot more use out of it than a SB.
4*I park the tractor inside so don't need this.

*Not to me .
I've done the service 2 times on my bx23 for 65 to 75 bucks so 325 from 2 dealers sounds like both of them quoted grossly padded prices for the service
