I got a price quote of $15,825 for a B7610 HSD w/grill guard, 60" deck and FEL. How's this compare?
I was all set to get a BX2350 equipped the same way, and the dealer talked me out of it because of the 2 different catagory 1 hitches between the BX and the B series. He said you will have a hard time finding implements to rent that fit the BX. Thanks in advance. |

( Local dealer offered me the 7510 with 302 FEL + scraper (delivered) for $13,500 and the 7610 for $14,500. )
Equipped the same way? No mower deck or grill guard? |

Yep, just to confirm that we Canadians get $crewed all the time.
Best quote was $16,600 (US) for a B7610, 352 loader, HD alternator, block heater, loaded R4s and bucket hooks, etc. I ended up getting everything but substituted the 302 loader beacuse that's what the tractor had on it at the time - it reduced the cost a little. Unfortuantely it is not worth the time and effort to try to import a tractor into Canada - even though I am getting an American made, NAFTA approved product. I would have had to add the cost of 2 days labour (1 day to negotiate/buy and a different day to go pick up the tractor) plus the hassle of Canadian government employees (duty office) to the cost of the tractor. No warranty. No financing. It was worth the extra $2500+ to just get the tractor in Canada - ahhh the cost of social healthcare. At least my dealer is a nice, honest guy. Thanks all for the help, Jason |

Right now I only have 1.5 acres but I couldn't justify a BX for that reason. I decided that if I was going to step up from a riding mower-type tractor then I should "do it right". It would be great if dealers up here had implements to rent. Canadians are supposed to be friendly and courteous but no dealer trusts us enough to rent out tillers, etc. Jason |

I am the proud new owner of a B7610HSD with 352 loader, grill guard, 60" mower deck, and ballast box. It got delivered today!
Now I have a lot of reading to do (owners manuals). I have 3 acres of mostly dirt (clay) that I need to get into shape after building a new home. |
