I wanted to get a comparison price for a B7610 with either the 302 or 352 loader in the New York, Michigan, Ontario area.
Prices in Canada seem to be about $1,500 - $2,000 higher for the same model, even when our 15% tax and exchange are factored in. Thanks, Jason |

Hi,
Probably the standard for Michigan is here at Aldermans and theword is take 10%off the list. http://www.aldermans.com/Kubota/kubota_Bpricing.html Ontario a little pricey. Last year looked at a 7800 and best I could do was $22k and change with loader and bush hog. Then add the 15% tax. Couple of used 790 Deere's with loaders for around 15K asking up in Elmira along with a couple of the 4XXX series. Have a great one. Tom |

dholly, I must have missed your post - that was the exact info I was looking for.
Unfortunately it makes my dealer look even worse. As per your post you got ...B7610 new in crate, 352 FEL w/ grill guard, RCK 60" MMM, R4s, weight box, block heater, arm rests, back light, 50 hr filters/fluids, pickup & dlv for 3 yr warranty period and the hat... $15,600 no tax. One dealer is offering the B7610 with the 352 loader and R4s ... for 19900 Cdn (or $17300 US). No mower, standard dynamo, no 50 hr service, etc. And I get to pay 15% tax on the whole unit!!! My question now is what will the dealer do when I start showing him the posts on what I can get the same machine for across the border. My guess is absolutely nothing - that is the attitude of many of the dealers up here. If you are not buying "real" tractors and combines they don't really care for your business. The $2000 plus is probably worth buying in the US and not getting warranty service in Canada as I know the dealers here will refuse to work on tractors that they didn't sell. They will accept the tractor at the yard but it will sit there until every other job is completely finished. |

Don't recall if I mentioned folding ROPS, bucket hooks and HD alternator in that thread. BTW, it was not the lowest price, I did pay a bit more for the local dealer support. Also, not my dealer, but have you tried here?

Hi,
Or here http://www.carverequipment.com/cool_season_new.htm If you don't mind the ride but could save a bunch on the product which also saves tax at the border. Depending on if you are open to other brands, the Massey 2310 ( TLB ) can be had in S\W Ontario for $19,900 ( CDN ) without even trying to talk about price. Good luck on your search. |

I don't really have a good Massey dealer nearby - I do want someone close in case the "fit hits the shan". There are 2 Kubotas dealers nearby for parts/service.
I don't mind paying a little extra but not that much extra. For the price difference I will be able to sell my utility trailer and upgrade to a tandem axle to haul my tractor around. I was trying to avoid the time committment of going South, buying and dragging the tractor back. My dad's retired and has been looking for an excuse for a road trip - guess I'll give him a shout and see what New York State has to offer. Thanks all, Jason |
