Default Price check BX 24 and others

I wanted to see where I stood with some pricing. Since I have access to larger machines if necessary, I decided to go with the BX24.

BX24-$15,200
Kubota 60" midmower-$1650
48" bush hog-$850
Lowery 48" Box Blade-$400
Hooper trailer 6 1/2x16 7000 lbs-$1750

Total-$19850+tax

Any thoughts on the prices or setup? Thanks

Can't help on the implement prices, but my base BX24 was 15k and 15.9k at my 2 local dealers here in WNC. From what I've read here...$15200 is a good price. My rear scrape blade was $250.
T-shirt and hat were free...

Sounds pretty good to me. I paid $15,149 for the BX24 with a 12 inch backhoe bucket, $700 for a heavy duty box blade, and $950 for a heavy duty PHD including the 9 inch auger.

How much negotiation is involved with the purchase of a tractor? Is it like a car?

Unfortunately, it's like buying a car. Do your homework first, and TBN is a great place to start.

Yes, it is like buying a car, unless you're buying a Saturn (no haggling there, which is why I'd never buy one).

So, like a car, do what you are doing: decide what you think you want, find out what prices others have paid, and then call as many dealers as you think you want to talk to (depending on how far they are). I am amazed at the differences in prices I've seen here for the same product. It depends on what the dealer has on hand, the geographic location, time of year, etc., just like a car. So, you could save yourself a lot of money. Also, I suspected that much of what my dealer would have wanted to sell me would be cheaper elsewhere. I was right. He gave me a good deal on a few things, but I've been spending some time just walking around my TSC store to see what they have (some questionable quality items), but on the whole I'll be looking around for implements.
