New M7040
Just thought I would post a picture of my new M7040 and Woods BrushBull mower.
I spent 14 hours behind the wheel mowing CRP over the past two days. Sure rides and drives a lot better than my old Case 1490.
I believe I made the right decision going with the M7040.

Re: New M7040
The tractor was $25,100 with Hydro Shuttle and Brush Guard.
The cutter was $4,300 with foam filled airplane tires, hydraulic cylinder, and front and rear guards (rubber guard in front and steel guard in the back).
My dad is rolling in his grave. He (and his parents) had never baught a new tractor in their 60 years of owning the farm.

What is the size of the cutter?
Don't worry about Dad, he is probably very proud.

Re: New M7040
i also have an M7040 with a 15 ft woods mower. It cuts down on the mowing time a lot.

Re: New M7040
Thanks for the real world stats.
What would you say the 5040 and 6040 are capable of pulling?
Mind you, I run a 5 foot woods on my 30hp 7800. But a 6 foot finishing mower.
