This is my first tractor. I'm completing building a house on 18 acres and have lots of projects and cleanup work to do.

I visited a local Kubota dealer (in N. Calif.) to price the L3400HST. He quoted $17,800 for a L3400HST with LA463 and Ag tires. He'll reduce the price by $1,500 for a harvest special (about 80 hours). I have a list of add-ons too, including a Woods backhoe (bringing the total to about $27,000 for the harvest special). I haven't received anything in writing, he's been telling me the prices which I've written down. After asking about a better price, he said he'd see if he could knock off $200 to $500 more.

What is a fair discount to expect? What is the list price for the L3400HST w/LA463?

Thanks.

I went to two dealers nearest me within 40 miles. The best price I got was $17,300 for the L3400 HST, Kubota loader, and loaded R4 tires. This is in North Carolina. Dealer was very patient and helpful, so I decided to buy from him. Hope that helps.

Was the "Harvest Return" from the Kubota Dealership in Rio Vista, Ca.? If not, try there. Dolk Tractor was the best dealer I purchased from on price and service. Tony is the guy to talk to about the L3400. I tried the Oregon route also since my son lived there, but found most dealers sell at or close to list! I saved over $2500 including tax in Calif. vs Oregon!

Thank you for all the responses.

The local dealer said he's going to Napa this coming Tuesday to pick up some harvest returns.
