Tractor
Kubota L3830 DT & B2710
I need to sell a B2710 with 385 hrs on it. I bought from the original owner in August 2005. It had about 300 hrs on it when I bought it and now has 385 hrs.
It has new tires on the front and the rears look very good - turf tires.
I had the rears filled about half full w/ water and antifreeze for stability.
Any suggestion on a reasonable selling price for this tractor?
It does not have a loader.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info.
Asking prices are much higher than I expected.
If mine had a loader it woud probably sell faster - or at least draw more interest.

From a buyer's side who is trying to make a used vs. new decision, my first question would be the cost of an equivalent new tractor. The 7610 is a bit smaller and a 7800 a bit larger. If I can get a new 7600 for $16K (or better), a used tractor would have to save me 25-30% to cover the hours, lack of warranty, and financing. Then I would subtract the price of a new loader and installation - $3-3500?

The 7800 may not be the best comparison but that is the market you are selling into. I imagine dealers keep asking prices high to move people to the new iron.

Checking with local dealers, while knowing they will have to sell it for more, may also help set a price in the middle.

MSRP is $15.5k - without loader
Actual selling price about $12k
Deduct 33% => $8,000
If I can get $8,000 I will be happy.
I might even take a little less?

That is probably a fair price, I wouldn't drop too much more.
