To change the battery you need to pull the radiator screen out. The battery is a Group 51R (Honda car battery).
For belts there should be a sticker on side of frame that shows how to measure the stretch on the spring for proper tension. To remove belts you need to back of the belt tension adjustment and drop the front deck link and remove the bottom guard and the bracket that keeps the belts on the pulleys. Old belts usually come off easy but new belts will need to be threaded on one sheave at a time and clearances will be tight. Belts are easy to slip and burn up with the 60 inch deck and also somewhat with the 54. Have only had good luck with the Kubota sourced Bando belt set ($80 US) think the pulleys may be metric as Kubota USA also sells a set of B section belts but they are not as strong as the Bando belts. After installing the belts you need to tension according to directions and check after some mowing and re tension as they will loosen up some after break in.
