T 1400H

Just bought a T 1400 H that appears to not have been used hard. Seller thought it had a coil problem but I can get it running by hand working the carb. Does anyone have instructions for the carb linkage setup? Will pull the carb tomorrow and clean it. I have been searching for a users manual but all I can find is one for a T1800-2800. Seems like a different engine as mine has no oil filter. Can I use the oil specs and maintenance info? Another issue I have is that the blades do not disengage. Maybe the previous owner used the wrong belt or there is too much tension on the idler?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The carbs are not complicated to work with and are quite simple, with the thoughts of needing a few parts ask your dealer to make you a copy of the parts diagram.. I would say it is more then likely a wrong belt on the deck! Good luck!

You will get 2 results.
Not sure which will match yours but it matches my T1400H.

pretty good parts manual that helps solve the mysteries of the cabling etc.
You will need to look at each page and cross reference. Some bits are not were you would expect them to be.
