    Default Temperature Gauge

    Folks,

My BX23 temp gauge has never gone to the middle, it always sits in the one third on the cool side. I know it is only a tractor but operating at the wrong engine temperature could jepadise your gas mileage no!

450 hours and still loving it

Most of the kubota temp gauges read "normal" at the lower end of the spectrum. Look for a little dot on the lower part of the scale and that's where the needle should point. They want to leave a lot of room to show an impending overheat.

I didn't know there's a little dot that shows normal temperature! I 've got to check it out. Thanks for pointing that out.

Same tractor and similar hours. Mine sits on the lower third, except when I let grass clog the intake grill.
