To whom it may concern... the L3710DT and GC54G manuals may be corrupted and are unable to be downloaded. Perhaps you could check your file and try uploading them again.

Rich. I deleted the old files and moved the two new files to the first window of the hosted area. But I still can't download them. Maybe others can. I dont understand it. Perhaps they have some kind of download prevention security?

My appologies to members who have been unable to download parts manuals from 'kubotabooks'.
For no reason that I can fathom, perfectly good pdf's simply won't download once they have been uploaded.

Unfortunately this storage facility that claims to be 'the worlds largest online media centre' has turned out to be little better than a scam. It is off line more than its on, and has so many bugs and errors that managing and retrieving files is tedious at best or simply impossible at other times. Due to the high volume of downloads in the first month I upgraded from a free account to a $45 annual account but, rather than solving problems, paying for this crappola service has just rubbed salt into the wound. I'm trying to sort out various issues with Mediamax but their customer support is useless so it could take forever. Once again, my appologies to members who have tried to download manuals, and especially to members who took time to upload manuals to the site.

Many of the downloads seem to be working fine. What a great resource this could be if the bugs get worked out! Are their any copyright concerns?

Can anybody advise what the best way to scan a manual is? PDF page size and dpi? I could add my front blade and tractor parts manuals to the library.

Also, I am looking for a manual for my Kubota FL-850 RotaryTiller. Anybody care to upload that?

8-1/2" x 11" page size, 96 dpi will suffice, set to black & white document. You can scan page for page, save in pdf (page for page) then Adobe has a feature to place all pages successively in a newly created PDF file. Save and up.

Unfortunately (as friggin' usual) I can't open or download it. But please let me know if you CAN. Maybe all the errors I'm getting have got something to do with me being in Australia. Its also annoying that contributors can't upload pdf's directly into the 'public viewing' hosted section, but I guess that at least prevents it being stuffed with **** and all that other junkmail rubbish.

Incidently, if anyone's got a better idea for storing and sharing this stuff, speak up. I'm not precious about it.

Sfixx. Kubota's parts manuals don't seem to have a copyright problem. Many were available free from various internet sources prior to me trying to bring them together in kubotabooks. However, scanning and posting a commercially published repair manual may be problematic. I've seen electronic copies of repair manuals (i.e pdf's) with a rather dubious disclaimer that says "Whilst the material in this manual is not copyright, this electronic copy IS". (I wonder if the original publishers of the printed repair manuals are OK with that!)

Anyway, I'd say that if theres a clearcut statement of copyright on the manual, banning reproduction without the publishers consent, then its best not to distribute it... openly.

I have been looking all over for a manual for my FL850 Tiller and have tied to download the one posted here but to no avail. If anyone has one on their computer they are willing to send me I would be very grateful.
