Grand L40 - Auto Throttle Advance
I just bought an L4240. All of the L40's have the new Auto Throttle Advance feature.
I'm wondering (for those with the L40 series) who leaves the Auto Throttle Advance on continuously, who switches back and forth to the regular manual throttle and who uses the manual throttle mainly?
So far I've left the Auto Throttle Advance on continuously.

Re: Grand L40 - Auto Throttle Advance
I rarely use mine. I normally do not need full throttle for travel and I want the machine throttled up for loader work. I may see if the amount of advance can be set back a bit. Mine goes to about 2000 rpm before the machine even moves.

Re: Grand L40 - Auto Throttle Advance
Usually the hand throttle (comming from a 4310, that's what I'm used to). I will use the auto throttle if I am going to be moving a long distance and I use the speed lock for mowing fields.
