I'm pretty sure for the L3400 the manual calls for a change at 50 hrs. All fluids and filters are changed at 50 hrs and then you are on to regular intervals from that point on.

That seems to be the conventional wisdom, to change all of them at 50 hours, but the BX manual states specifically what to do at 50 hours and it's just change the engine and hydraulic oil and filters, check the torque of the wheel bolts, grease a couple of zerks, and check the start sequence (or something like that). That's it.
