Ohhh no TSC Kubota paint doesn't match...

I was at the hardware store last weekend and say a can of orange XOXO brand paint. It is a comparable brand of rustoleum paint. There are two different orange paints. I think they call them orange #1 and orange #2 although I'm not sure which one is which. All I know is that this XOXO orange on my older B7200 is next to impossible to see the mismatch. I am also used to looking for color match being as I have painted cars everyday in our shop for about 6 years straight. My father who painted for 25 years straight even remarked about how incredible the match was for a 3.99 can of paint that was just picked up.

You'd have to compare your tractor to a new one.

The lighter shade is the old color. The new is richer looking and noticably darker.

The orange that has a lighter or even yellowish tint is the old. The newer orange has a red tint to it and is comparable to what is on the current kioti tractors. .

All is well now....

I ran over to the Kubota dealer and bought a couple of spray cans of "real" Kubota paint for $11.00 a can. Here are the results, I'll also be posting some pictures of my new homemade toothbar shortly.

Oh ya she's happy.

I even got real excited and wiped off the various globs of grease off the loader arms with some WD40.

Looking much better....

Honestly, it didn't look that terrible before... I think I woulda just left it until the next time I had a reason to paint the bucket. Buckets aren't supposed to be THAT pretty :)
Looks nice though...
