Just wondering if anyone has any experiance with either of these blades? Land Pride RB1560 60" long and the RB1572 70" long. I will be pulling it behind my L2800. I can pick up the 60" blade for $400, and the 72" blade for $500. I will be working them for dirt and snow, They say the blade should be wider than the tractor? The 60" just about does it, and the 70" extends the back of the tractor about 6" both sides. Any info would be great. Thanks Tom

I have the RB 1572. I pull it with my B3030. Its a very well made blade but its on the light duty side. It will be ok for loose dirt and snow. I dont use my blade for scraping hard packed soil. Its just to light for that and the box blade works much beter. If i was you i would get the 72" blade. If you angle the 60" blade you will be coming up short.

I got the RB1560 in the deal when I bought My B3030. I thought it was fine until it snowed. When the blade is angled it does not move the snow far enough outside the wheels. The problem rears it's head the next time you plow. In order to keep the driveway from getting narrower each time you plow you need to drive on the previously plowed snowbank. Not good. I traded the 60 back to the dealer for the 72 for $100. Very happy with the 1572.

If I had to do it again though, I would get the RBT1572. The tilt feature would come in handy when plowing snow on uneven ground. If you leave the tilt adjustment pin out the blade is free to follow the ground contours without digging in on the high side. Overall, I think Landpride makes a good blade and I would recommend it.

I bought the RBT 1572. I really havent used that feature that much but it is nice when you need it. You might want to get the gage wheels. I found mine to be useless without them. Land pride is very proud of their wheels. I think they are around $300.
