L2800 "standard" tractor - 3 point hitch videos

i finally got a chance to go out and try mine in various speeds and positions. mine Jerks but not near as bad as the videos. i was backwards ont he position of my speed valve it is closer to fully open than closed. i tried it both ways and the more closed it is the more it jerks. This was all with a 5' king kutter shredder. next time i back up to a 2,000# bale of hay i will see how it acts with a heavy load. i may talk to the dealer aobut it but im not real concerned aobut mine. almost 2 years and it really hasnt bothered me enough to pay much attention and everything i have is a 3 point attachment.

I think I know the answer to this but I need to verify something before I call my dealer back.

Dealer informed me that if I get the 3PH jerking problem fixed that I will lose the draft control. I told him that I don稚 have draft control because I don稚 have the second draft control lever that the owner痴 manual shows for adjusting draft control. He indicated that I still have draft control and that I will lose that if I get 3PH jerking fixed.

Anyone ever heard that before?

I would ask the dealer for a sample of whatever it is he is smoking. It sounds good anyway.

The L2800/L3400 do not have draft control either standard or available as an option. These are the only two "economy" series tractors that have the JERK valve.

The L4400 on the other hand has a decent valve (based on reports here) and is the only one of the three models to have draft control available as an option.

I am still looking for the that "Economy" word in the Kubota description and can't find it , "canoetrpr" can you show me where it is at or are you just repeating a Kubota rep comment , like "upgrade" ?
I would think those tiny B series are the "economy tractors" .

GMtb42, I'm just being sarcastic. Their sales / marketing team obviously dosen't think that representing these machines as "economy" has a good ring to it.. so they call them "standard L series" or just "L series". Although I think that in the past they were called "economy" and this has been changed in the marketing/sales literature but the service reps still call them "economy".

Service reps across the board seem to call them "economy".

Sorry , I saw those tiny "B and BX series" and thought those were the "Economy" models not the larger "L or M series" .

After spending $80 in gas and 6 hours driving... I finally got my 3 point hitch valve replaced by Kubota (without having to pay for it... which another dealer wanted me to do.) The Fourth time turned out to be the charm, but it wasn't without having to get really nasty with the dealer. You can be your own judge:

Now, on to the next problem of the L2800, a PTO that does NOT turn off... made using the new Posthole Digger slightly more dangerous :) Not sure it's worth 80 more dollars of my money or 6 hours more of my time...

Must be nice , still fighting to get mine fixed .
Does look as if it is much smoother , now you can spread dirt or gravel without to much trouble . I got use to using the front bucket and just blew off the box blade , pity , glad you got it fixed .
So the big question is , worth it or not ?
