A woods 48" (light duty) GBC48 is about $600.00

I was browsing for a used one and stmbled into this.
This new one on ebay is $320.00 and seller has great feedback.
Yeah it's probably a china import but it looks pretty beefy and weights slightly more than the light duty woods.

What do you think?

The ad says made in USA ? It does look like a good deal, how far are you from Dublin, Ga. ?

The e-bay ad says, "Made in American" which is nice.

I got a lighly used 6' box blade for $200. a couple of months ago. You might want to try craigslist.com. I think used is the way to go since box blades are pretty rugged things. I love my box blade and use it a good amount.

Happy hunting.

Thanks but a 6' is too big for a BX24.

It's a fixed shipping cost of $125.00 any where within USA. So it comes to $445.00 delivered.

One advantage of the woods is it has a reversable blade. I don't know how important that is.

I did check craigslist once but will check again.

it says made in america, and also says;

'As the direct importer, we save you money...in time and dollars!

We have been importing quality Italian manufactured farm equipment for over 10 years.'

what about that?

Since someone pulled the eBay link, I'm not sure which seller or box blade you're looking at but maybe this will help. There are a couple of box blades I've been looking at for our 6100. One seller (esctpwr1) has a United 4' with reversible cutting edge for $325 BIN. Another seller (thesmartfarmer) has a 4' box blade, also with a reversible edge for $299. He doesn't list a name but sells a lot of Leinbach equipment that color.

HTH,
Mike

Oh, didn't know about the rule on links.

I saw the thesmartfarmer one but it was pricey to ship. The one from redroverd has a fixed shipping cost of $125.00 to ship anywhere in USA.

The one from esctpwr1 would cost $331.00 to ship to MA.
