This BX1500 is for sale one state over on ebay.
A quick glance at the pix and I was struck by the ROPS height. I contacted the seller, who indicated it came from Kubota that way.

Having a hard time believing it- why bother with a ROPS at all if it's going to be that short?

Is it possible or did he have it modified?

I would say that the seller bought it used, and either the present seller or the previous seller is lying because they know about the liability issue.

I just can't believe that came from Kubota that way:eek:

Ain't no way. I wouldn't let it dissuade you from the purchase if it is a really good deal. Just make sure you budget and replacing the ROPS. Really silly that someone would do that to their machine. The ROPS isn't that tall...

I guess folks just do not read TBN and understand the hazards of cutting or removing the ROPS. Here is a picture of another person who removed the ROPS and has it for sale on e-bay.

Definitely not factory. The ROPS on a BX1500 bolts on, so it should be easy enough to replace, but it kinda make you wonder what else the previous owner might have done.
