Toolbox for Kubota L39

Any new/old ideas for adding a toolbox to an L39?

I've seen a chainsaw strapped to the ROPS but I'd love to see something enclosed in an out of the way spot!

We want to add some storage for basic tools and/or chains while out in the "back 40". Maybe with some help won't have to re-invent the wheel!

Kubota makes one that bolts on to the ROPS. $40-50 as I recall.

If you have a fel you can use the supports to store chains and tools. Easy and cheap to do.

WOW! That's thinking! I've often slide tools in there but what a good solution to keep them there!

My dealer can't find the OEM toolbox that attaches to the ROPS - does anyone have a picture of one?

The OEM toolbox attaches to the left FEL support on the inside. The toolbox sits about 2 feet from your left foot. You should be able to see a (existing)bracket on the FEL support for the toolbox.

Here are a few of the "storage mods" I made to my B7500. These were posted before but here they are again...

First two are the chain boxes that I attached to the ROPS Frame. I used to wrap my chains around the front grill guard but this is MUCH better.

Third picture is a chain saw holder that I purchased from Cabela's - it is an ATV Chain saw holder. It is attached to the ROPS and it allows me to keep chain saw with me at all times. I bolted it to the open ROPS hole - the one where you put the pin when you fold the rops. I never fold my rops so this works well.

Picture 4 is a hat hook which is bolted to the same spot on the other side of the rops - gotta have your safety helmet!

Last picture is of a "tray" that I attached to the Loader crossbar. This is kind of ugly, but it was done without drilling anything. There is just sheet metal wrapped around the crossbar and then screwed into the wooden tray. This usually carries a standard tool box but it can also handle chain saw gas and oil, etc. Very versatile and includes a cup holder that is screwed into the side. Since this picture was taken I also added a sheath for a pruning saw so I always have one of those with me as well.
