PTO won't cut-off

I was seriously looking at the L3400 Kubota tractor but the PTO issues is really turning me off. Cams, cables, what else? Seems someone needs to go back to the drawing board and come up with a different design on this tractor.

I have only heard of two main issues with the L2800/3400 with that being the 3 pt valve being jerky and that has been fixed and the PTO cable and that is fixed. My L2800 is a mighty fine machine that I expect to last longer than me.

As long as you don't hit a limb with the ROP's...

Not sure if you roll over that the ROPs might not do the same thing... just a guess. But of course none of *us* will be hitting a tree.

Also, if you use a tiller, be very carefully... (no sure how to do that except to make sure you stop before hitting underground objects?)

Most of us will not be using our tractors like these guys did; :D I plan to baby my L2800 until I can afford something else.

I checked my pto last month to see if it still works and it did. If it ever breaks then I will fix it.
