I am installing a snow blower chute rotater and it won't work on these ports, only turns one way, but will work on the other two.

The blank (inner) ones are used for the blower lift cylinder (came that way from the dealer).

The blower lift cylinder will work on the ones I show hooked up (outer).

WHY?

I guess I could change them around but thought side to side with the joy stick would make more sense for chute rotating and up-down for lift and lower.

Come on guys 69 views and no body knows.

Well thank goodness for a knowledgable dealer.:D

I stopped today and he knew right away, said it only goes one way right. He said don't worry it happens to everyone with a chute rorator, they get it all the time.

The side to side has a float detent when you move it all the way to the right that I never used with the FEL (or knew it was there).

Hooked the hoses back up the way they should be and pushed the lever past the detent to the right and it works fine, rotates both ways.

This might help some one else.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier...

It's not a "float" detent, it's called REGEN, short for regenerative. It pressurizes both sides of a cylinder to prevent cavitation. It's also commonly referred to as "fast dump"

It will not work on the chute rotater because there is no gravity to overcome it...

You can read a in-depth discussion about it HERE
