hydraulic connections for bh90

I am a newbie to tractors, but if I have a BH90 installed by the dealer, I am
assuming they need to install some rear remotes to control this?? How many
remotes are required to operate the BH and if a mechanical thumb is installed
does that require more remotes?

Yes, as everyone else has stated, this is completely normal for the backhoe setup from Kubota. If you do a search for BH90, you'll find a very nice thread that someone posted awhile back that takes you through a step by step (with photos) of the backhoe removal/installation. It was very helpful for me!

No rear remotes are required for the BH90. The hose that everone is talking about is the "power beyond", and just adds the backhoe into the hydraulic circuit. A mechanical thumb doesn't require a remote, because it is simply mechanical. Take a look at the picture that KW posted above - there are no hydraulic lines to the thumb.
