I've got over 500 hours now on my BX2200.
But at the 100 hour mark, I paid to have it taken to the dealer for the complete job. Fluid change, adjustments, overall check.
All subsequent work, I've done.
Still running strong.

I do all my own service work. It is fun to get to know your tractor and spend time with it and saves a bunch of money ! I buy all my fluids and filters from the dealer. I have taken my machine in for warranty work and they never question me about maintenance! I do not think any dealer should question you about maintenance unless they see something suspicious.

Should I or shouldn't I? What is your experience?
My dealer told me to do it myself. If you have receipts for the filters and oil you will be fine.

One convenient trick is to use a permanent marker or white-out (depending on filter color) with the date you did the change. It also helps you to keep track of when service is needed between the hour meter and a quick look at the filter. That'll also provide additional backup that the service was performed, in the event of a warranty claim. Keeping a paper or computerized journal would be further proof of proper service.
Write the machine hours on the filter as well.
