check: Welcome to CARTER AND SON'S TOOL AND DIE This is what I have. Couldn't be more satisfied with their service. others (and for good reason) enjoy Pats, https://www.imcuniverse.com/store/easychange.htm#buy. There are some other imitations of these prodicts out there, often seen on Ebay, but no where the quality of what these will provide.

I'm very happy with my L3400. The L2800/L3400 are nice basic machines and Kubota sells a lot of them.
I usually let my tractor warm up a bit at 1400 rpm but I generally won't hesitate to manipulate the 3PT if I need to change an implement while it is warming up. If it is very cold (and it gets cold here!) I'll give it enough time to get to operating temp. Get a Pats quick hitch. Really really good product and it makes changing implements a breeze. Keep a 15/16 wrench handy and adjust the tie-rods for the width of the lower pins as necessary. It takes me a few min at most to change implements and much of that time is just extending or shortening the top link - so it should be a lot quicker very soon as I am about to install a hydraulic top link. I wouldn't worry about the L2800/L3400 going out of production. There are a LOT of these tractors around. Part supply is not going to be a problem and they are very servicible with little electronics.
