L3400 HST
Hi,
I have almost no experience w/ discs and plows, but I was wondering if I use something like this to break up my soil that has tons and tons of small, medium and large rocks in it, will I break something? Will it just clog the whole thing up? Am I just asking for trouble?

Any idea what size of disc set up my L3400 HST could handle?

Thanks,
j

Hi!
I have a Kubota B7800 and a King Kutter 51/2' heavy duty disc harrow( like the one in the picture). My land also has lots of rocks of all sizes. Last year I plowed about 2 acres and then used the disc harrow and it did a good job. My tractor pulled it well. I did, however, remove the really large rocks as I uncovered them. My tractor has ag. tires.
I think your tractor would handle the 6' KK heavy duty disc without any problems. The Kubota manual may give you a ballpark size of the implements for your machine. best wishes,
Barney:)
