My previous tractor was an industrial ford 4000. The loader mounted back to the rear axle like you're talking about. That's definitely something I probably should do because I'm sure most people are like me and push their equipment past its limit sometime or another. The only thing I'm not real happy about is the way the towers move around in the rear supports. This was a quick detach loader so the towers just sit on the arms. They won't come out because of some blocks that bolt in behind them, however this setup doesn't inspire confidence. I will probably modify this for a more permenant and solid mount. Any suggestions? Hi Big K,
Nice work, and good job saving the 2 grand. I wonder which one will outlast the other. I'm bettin on the tractor. I think they have shots or pills or something to clear that green infection up. Just yankin your chain, you could probably start the tractor version of monster garage. Pat |

![]() ![]() Actually the identical US-made hoe was sold under both Yanmar and Kubota labels around 1980. And the Great Bend (now Bushhog) loader was dealer installed. As for the wheels - the previous owner just replaced stuff with whatever fit. I've gotten everything but those wheels back to authentic Yanmar. I guess you could still call it a mutt. I'm nondenominational.

Pulling a green attachment is indeed different... Bigk56 is forcing his Kubota to, um... swap fluids with that green thing. ![]() |
