My 2.5 year old 3400 HST seat surface is begining to loose bonding to foam mould. No breaks, cuts or outdoor storage other than overnight from time to time. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to slow it down or maybe even fix it before it gets worse?

This started happening to the seat on my L4400 within a year of purchase, but the tractor is kept outdoors/under a tarp. I think these are pretty cheap seats. Mine is perfectly comfortable but I don't think it will last very long.
The vinyl coming loose has not affected anything except the appearance. No moisture is getting in (since there is no break in it). When I sit on it, it makes a sound like escaping air...... at least that's my story and I'm sticking with it. Seriously though, it doesn't seem to be getting any worse so I'm just going to leave it be. (the tractor is 3 years old now.) If the vinyl starts to break down or come off, I'm just going to get a new, and nicer bolt on seat. They have them at tractor supply.
