Default L345DT transmission availability

It's a 1980 L345DT that lost the transmission last fall - a Kubota dealer rebuilt the transmission for almost $4,000 with no guarantee (obsolete second hand parts) and now 20 hours later it's gone bad again. We can't find a complete transmission anywhere.
Does anyone know what other models share the same transmission so we can widen the search?

Thanks in advance!

Default Re: L345DT transmission availability

I would guess that L305 and L295 share the same transmission. The L355's transmission would also bolt up I think, but you'd need to get the L355 reverser too - having all the manuals would be a must. What are the tractor's symptoms? No drive at all or just some gears?
