Default Another new BX24 owner

After reading many posts here and elsewhere, renting a BX24 for the 3 day memorial day weekend and accepting that almost all other brands' dealers were too far from me to be practical choices anyway, I am now among the happy BX24 owners. Well, almost. Delivery is this coming Saturday but having rented previously I already know how much I'll enjoy it.

As I put it to work I will try to be as helpful to current and new prospective owners as many of you have already been to me.

Scott, I just got mine in April and can't believe how many things I've found to do. Not to mention the list the wife came up with too

Congrats !

Glad to hear you got the BX. Just make sure the spindles on the mower are FULL of grease before you go mow. This is the only thing I found was over looked during the prep. The spindles have a lot of room in the grease chamber and can take more than 20 or 30 pumps of grease to fill!

WOW 20 or 30 pumps of grease? I always give each spindle 4-5 pumps before each mow.... Your noy worried about to much possibly thrown onto the belt and start slipping???

The problem is that the spindle was not full of grease to begin with, that is why it took so much. After that four or five will be good..
