How wide is an L3400 to the outside of the rear tires? I'm buying the tractor with ag tires and was wondering the actual width so I can spec implements such as snow blower which I think I want just a little wider. The brochure says 51.4 inches (min, tread), What's that mean? some one told it meant to the center of the tire.

My L2800 (identical to the 3400 in size) owners manual states the maximum rear wheel tread for the 11.2-24 Farm tire is 50.8 inches. That is the center to center distance (other distance selection choices are 40.2, 43.8, and 47.1 inches). I don't have that tire so can't measure but I imagine they're about 12 inches wide. Add that 12 inches (6 times 2) to those numbers and it seems the width would be around 52, 56, 59 or 63 inches.

I've got a 60" Meteor blower and it's just wider than the rears.
